Yamira Lee Johnson, head chef and founder of Breaking Bread with Mira and certified holistic life coach, will demonstrate how to make versatile plantain based dishes your whole family will enjoy this holiday season. From Mangu, a typical dish from Dominican Republic, adopted along the Caribbean comprised of smashed plantain with olive oil and vinegar and red onion, to a traditional plantain soup that is popular in Puerto Rico.
