Orlando Gay Chorus Artistic Director

The Artistic Director is a part-time position that serves the Board of Directors, the governing body of the Chorus, is responsible for the rehearsals and productions of the Chorus, and promotes the vision and mission of the Chorus. Orlando Gay Chorus is seeking candidates with a Bachelors in Music Performance or Music Education and experience in vocal technique, choral conducting, music education/teaching, and piano proficiency.  Ability to create an artistic vision for Orlando Gay Chorus, given its mission and history, experience in collaborating productively with others, experience in LGBTQ+ choral programming or sincere interest in working with an LGBTQ+ chorus, experience with building community partnerships, and knowledge of and sensitivity to the LGBTQ+ community, choral movement and musical/artistic community are preferred.  Above all, the ability to lead, inspire, and have fun are of utmost importance in this role.
