Time Commitment: Full-Time, salaried, exempt
Compensation: $40-50K, commensurate with experience

Basic Purpose and Objective of the Role:
Under the direction of the Director of Philanthropy, the Individual Giving Manager will oversee gift acceptance, recording, and acknowledgement; donor benefits fulfillment; stewardship; and prospect research to support fulfillment and growth of Orlando Ballet’s contributed revenue. Orlando Ballet is seeking a driven, self-motivated, highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage/analyze data, a desire for a career in development, and a commitment to supporting Orlando Ballet in its mission to entertain, educate and enrich through the highest quality of dance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee acceptance, recording, and acknowledgement of all incoming contributed revenue
- Oversee maintenance of the donor database to ensure data is clean, accurate, and complete
- Oversee and assist with the creation and fulfillment of contributed revenue reports as requested by the Philanthropy team, Board Members, and other departments
- Oversee creation and maintenance of constituent communication lists to support event invitations, annual fund solicitations, and stewardship activities
- Track and maintain fulfillment of donor and sponsor benefits
- Support prospect research needs as requested by the Philanthropy team, Executive Director, and Board Members, including management of iWave wealth screening efforts
- Assist with overseeing, updating, and tracking the moves management process for the Philanthropy team and Executive Director in close partnership with the Director of Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer
- Conceptualize, create, and execute direct appeal fundraising campaigns, including the United Arts Collaborative CampaignWork closely with the Philanthropy team to:
- Create and promote consistent donor messaging
- Execute fundraising, donor recognition, and cultivation events throughout the Season
- Identify new or existing prospects for all funding streams
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting
- Identify and recruit volunteers and committee members to assist in supporting development initiatives
- All members of the Philanthropy team will oversee a prospect portfolio (levels and size of portfolios to be established)
- Serve on Orlando Ballet Board Committees as appropriate, including but not limited to the Stewardship Committee
- Support all aspects of the Philanthropy team as needed, including attendance of all Season performances, the Ballet Ball, the Nutcracker Boutique, and all fundraising and cultivation events
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a nonprofit development environment
- Significant prospect research experience, including familiarity with wealth screening tools, specifically iWave
- Proven track record of ability to work independently, with great attention to detail and flexibility, in a fast-paced atmosphere under established time constraints
- Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Excellent organizational, customer service, and communications skills
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in philanthropic studies or nonprofit management
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a nonprofit development environment
- Professional background in nonprofit arts environment
- Significant experience and training in Tessitura CRM software
- Completion of Tessitura Fundamentals and/or Comprehensive courses
- Experience with digital communication platforms, specifically WordFly
- Basic graphic design, photography, and video capability, ie. experience with Canva or other similar platforms
