Central Florida’s Premier Comedy Theater presents an online evening of original comedy video and “filmed live” performances from groups throughout Florida and the United States. The online event focuses on comedic short form plays (sketches).
The Humor Mill Orlando, Central Florida’s finest comedy theater, presents the second
annual Central Florida Sketch Comedy Festival, to be held online on Saturday,
November 7th, starting at 7pm. The festival, also known as CFLSketch, is a celebration
of the comedic art of sketch comedy made popular by groups such as Saturday Night
Live, Kids in the Hall and The Second City. The Festival is the only of its kind in the
state and features groups from throughout Florida, and as far away as Los Angeles,
Seattle, New York City, Boston and Vancouver, Canada. The first festival, held in
September, 2019, was in person, but due to COVID-19, this year has turned to online
streaming, and will present video and “Filmed Live” performances from some of the top
groups in the country. The evening festival also features it’s first ever headline,
performer, Kelly Vrooman, best known for her work on the Sunny Side Up Show, and
many viral videos. She will join the festival live at 8pm and chronicle her work in online
sketch comedy and beyond. The festival will be streamed live on the CFLSketch
Facebook page (CFLSketchfest), Twitter (@CFLFest), Youtube (TheHumorMillOrlando)
and their company website, CFLSketch.com. The best part of this special event is that
it’s completely free, although donations will be accepted as they raise money for future
