Grades 3-4: Adaptable Animals-Did you know a giraffe’s tongue color protects it from getting sunburnt while feeding on trees? Or that a porcupine quill is just modified hair? Come discover the amazing adaptations found in nature.
Grades 5-6: Grossology-Do you celebrate National Gas Pass Day? How we perceive flatulence and other bodily functions has changed over time. This camp will delve into the deep stinky past of grossly underrated science and history.
Grades 7-9: Weird Science-Did you know honey never expires? Many factors work in harmony to preserve it, which is why archaeologists have found honey that is thousands of years old and still good enough to eat! Weird science can be found all around us if you know where to look.
