At Osceola Arts in the Studio Gallery- METAMORPHOSIS: Works by Alejandro Selmi Art -April 11 through June 5. Orlando artist Alejandro Selmi creates art as a form of expressive protest. The core of Selmi’s work is inspired by the ongoing destructive behavior of humanity to our planets’ natural landscape. “The signs can be seen through the dramatic changes that our climate has manifested in the last couple of decades due in great part to the accumulation of waste products; some are recycled while others are stored awaiting a solution.” says Selmi. Selmi creates art with discarded materials by repurposing and transforming them, they undergo a beautiful metamorphosis.
