Art makers often turn to books as vessels for informing and understanding our contemporary society. Participants in this workshop will be introduced to multiple book binding techniques in addition to the process of physically altering a published text. Attendees are encouraged to bring a book that they are interested manipulating. Whether you choose to reassemble, destroy or embellish your book, you will create a uniquely-personal work of art.
