ABOUT THE BOOK
When We Were Young has all the elements of a great women\’s fiction read. Compelling, multi-generational characters, an emotional, poignant storyline, and a journey that crosses the ocean from 1940\’s Greece to present-day America. Goldis has a rare gift to get you laughing through your tears. Fans of The Last Train to Key West by Chanel Cleeton and The Paris Secret by Natasha Lester will love Jaclin Goldis!

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Jaclyn Goldis is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and NYU Law. She practiced trust and estate law at a large Chicago law firm for seven years before leaving her job to travel the world and write novels. After culling her possessions into only what would fit in a backpack, she traveled for over a year until settling in Tel Aviv, where she can often be found writing from cafés near the beach. She loves to hear from readers. Please visit jaclyngoldis.com to learn more.

Jenny Lecoat was born in Jersey, Channel Islands, where her parents were raised under German Occupation and were involved in resistance activity. Lecoat moved to England at 18, where, after earning a drama degree, she spent a decade on the alternative comedy circuit as a feminist stand-up. She also wrote for newspapers and women\’s magazines (Cosmopolitan, Observer), worked as a TV and radio presenter, before focusing on screenwriting from sitcom to sketch shows. A love of history and factual stories and a return to her island roots brought about her feature film Another Mother\’s Son (2017). She is married to television writer Gary Lawson and now lives in East Sussex. The Girl From the Channel Islands is her first novel.
