Automatic Drawing Workshop with Ryan Otero Price

We’ve all confronted the white of the sheet or canvas, struck with fear that this one idea will not cut the proverbial mustard. To shake this feeling, one must draw without regard, without worry of making a mistake, fully embracing all failures that come with creation.

In this drawing workshop, artist Ryan Otero Price will provide background on the history and techniques of automatic drawing, as well as instruction on automatism, free association, and responsive drawing.
