Senior citizens display their work
Opening Reception: Friday, May 12, 6-8p.m.
This annual exhibition shines a light on Casselberry’s senior artists. This year the non-profit group, Seniors For a Better Community (SFBC) has received a grant from Sanford Seminole Arts Association (SSAA) to hold art workshops at senior, and memory care facilities, where they will create mosaic art that will be displayed in the senior art show at the Casselberry Art House. SFBC and casselberry seniors will also be helping create a mosaic sculpture that will be on permanent display next to the Art House in Lake Concord Park as a part of the SSAA grant. The sculpture will be revealed at the opening reception.
