Join us for a fun afternoon of jazz and Latin fusion with CuBop!
Celebrating the Latin infused side of the Blue Note catalog, CuBop’s origin stems from the fusion of the Afro-Cuban and BeBop sounds of stylistic pioneers Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, and Horace Silver. Since the group’s inception in 2015, the CuBop catalog has expanded to cover a wide array of styles in the jazz idiom from Latin-Jazz to Hard Bop and to more progressive avant-garde styles all rooted within the classic quintet and sextet format.

ADMISSION INFO
Tickets are $20 for CFJS members, $35 for non-members, $5 CFJS members age 19-25, $10 members age 19-25, and free for high school and younger. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door if the event is not sold out.
Lobby doors open at 2:00 p.m. Theater doors open at 2:15 p.m. (or when the performers have completed their setup, sound check and rehearsal).
