Creative Arts for Life-Art Class for Seniors

Each week will feature a new art project using different media including painting, collage, recycled objects and plaster.  All art supplies will be furnished for you.  Just bring your imagination!

Studies show that participants in the arts groups: used less medication; had fewer doctor visits; experienced elevated mood; showed an increase in the level of independent functioning; did better on scales for depression, loneliness and morale; and exhibited an increase in activity.  (Creativity Matters – The Arts and Aging Toolkit)
