Creative Arts for Life-Dance Class for Seniors

This class will begin with stretching and warmup exercises.  You will learn 3-4 dances over the 8 week sessions at your own pace.  From Broadway to Sinatra, be prepared to have fun!  There will be a performance celebration at the end of the semester.

Studies show that participants in the arts groups: used less medication; had fewer doctor visits; experienced elevated mood; showed an increase in the level of independent functioning; did better on scales for depression, loneliness and morale; and exhibited an increase in activity.  (Creativity Matters – The Arts and Aging Toolkit)
