Creative Sparks? What is it? Creative Sparks are games and activities that stretch your imagination and open up creative blocks. Some of the games are familiar to you as party games, others are icebreakers and others just make you feel as if you are in adult summer camp. Every 6 weeks or so we use these activities during our Friday Coffee & Convo program at the CFA to unwind, laugh and SPARK UP!
We’ll be gathering weekly near the gazebo at Mote Morris house. Bring a camp chair or a towel to sit on. The Center for the Arts will provide the games and facilitator. The sanitizer will be provided but it is always a good practice to carry and use your own. All games will be COVID careful. No passing of papers or pens or using the same tools if not sanitized. We want people to safely have FUN and JUICE THEIR CREATIVITY. We do suggest that you also bring some bug spray, water, your own snacks, and a mask to wear.
We will be socially distanced. Here are some examples of games we may play: pictionary, charades, taboo, poetry magnets, haiku jam, excuses for the principal, write your own commercial, song words, and yes, there are more. We have been doing this with great success at the Center for the Arts and it is always brilliant fun.
Is this event for families with kids? Sorry, but the answer is “no.” The games are for adults on Thursdays. Please do not bring the kids. The park is not fenced and no one wants to be running after a child. Check our calendar for children’s programs.
