Branch also is known for co-choreography with Michael Peters (choreographer for Michael Jackson) for “On Stage America,” performed with Ben Vereen at Avery Fisher Hall in New York and performed with Diana Ross at Central Park. In 2006, choreographer Dawn Branch was inspired to create a contemporary ballet to give honor to the Lord. “I looked around at dance performances like The Nutcracker, and I thought it would be amazing to create a work where we recognize religion and spirituality. The ideas began to flow and in one night I created Eden, complete with soundtrack. I will never forget that moment,” said Dawn Branch, creator of Eden.
Eden also will be featuring the award winning choreographer Edgar Godineaux who is famous for his Broadway, film, and television choreographer work in the Tony winning best musical Memphis, Flashdance the Musical, Leap of Faith, and coming soon Chasing the Song; which were collaborated with choreographer Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys, Addams Family, On Your Feet). IdleWild the movie featuring Outkast collaborated with 3-time Tony winner Hinton Battle, Motown 30 with Debbie Allen. Edgar’s unique style and creative abilities has him in demand with many artists in his field of work. As a dancer he has toured with Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, and Mariah Carey to name a few.
