FAVO: Smile Day October 7

Visit FAVO on October 7, World Smile Day, invented by the artist who created the smiley face in 1963. Harvey Ball thought everyone should devote one day to smiles and kind acts, so when you purchase art from FAVO’s 30 artists on October 7, we will donate a portion to Easter Seals to support adults and children with disabilities.  At this free First Friday event, artists open their studios to the public from 5 to 9 p.m.  Browse through, chat with artists and admire their paintings, sculptures, fiber art, photography and more.  Guest artists and vendors, live music and food trucks add to the fun at Faith Arts Village Orlando, a vibrant arts complex that was once an abandoned motel.
