The Organization of Independent Filmmakers, in partnership with the Enzian Theater, is proud to present the firs in a series of Panels and Workshops for Central Floridians who are beginning or expanding their career in film.
About this event
Gain insight into the growing film industry here in Central Florida and beyond. A panel of film and arts experts will present valuable information concerning those in film.
Whether seasoned or newbies; actors, filmmakers, writers, crew and anyone else in related arts are sure to learn about the opportunities, the methods for success, and the process of filmmaking.
After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session where you can ask any of the panelists about subjects that concern YOU and your career.
Jason Gregory, Screenwriting Lecturer at the University of Central Florida, will moderate the panel.
The Panel:
John Lux, Executive Director Film Florida, will present on the status of film in Florida today and offer insights into the outlook for the future.
Terry Olson, Director of Arts & Cultural Affairs in Orange County, will talk about special programs available to artists in Orange County.
Brooke Hill, Orlando Film Commission, will discuss film production and the permitting process in the City Beautiful.
Jordan Woods Robinson, Award-Winning Actor (The Walking Dead, Nashville, and much more), Musician and Acting Coach, will discuss how you can start or boost an acting career.
Jennifer Jarackas, Acting Coach will discuss some ways that can help strengthen your acting skills and talents.
The event is FREE to the public, though we greatly appreciate donations of any amount so we can bring more of these programs to you.

The Organization of Independent Filmmakers is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to promote participation in the Cultural Arts, specifically film. The organization provides FREE or low-cost programs that educate, engage and offer opportunities to anyone wishing to increase their experience in Film Arts.
