Insights & Sounds: Exploring and Celebrating African American Composers

Be inspired with stunning music by accomplished composers who have not received the accolades they so richly deserve.

Many of America’s most accomplished composers have not received the accolades they so richly deserve. From Still’s Ennanga, Dett’s The Chariot’s Jubilee, Walker’s Lyric for Strings, to Price’s Songs to a Dark Virgin you will be inspired by hearing the stunning music of these underappreciated composers as you ask yourself two questions: Why don’t I know their music and How can I hear more?
