Lunch & Learn – Legends of Tinker Field

Join us as we explore the history of Tinker Field and its impact on baseball in Orlando. Learn more about the vanished stadium’s namesake, Hall of Famer Joe Tinker, and the impressive list of star players who took the field over the years. We will also look at other notable events that took place at Tinker Field, including a very special appearance by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 1964.

Participate virtually or in-person.

Cost: $5, members FREE. With lunch: $14, members $9. Lunch must be ordered by 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 2.
