Joni Mitchell’s recent appearance at the Newport Folk Festival has touched Millions worldwide. Her timeless music and words are now even more meaningful than ever. We have to view the world from Both Sides Now, understand the circle of life in Circle Games, experience love in My Old Man, and experience patriarchy with Don’t Interrupt the Sorrow and of course be open to collaborate across musical genres as she did. We are excited to announce the release of a reimagined set of Joni Mitchell’s music, arranged by pianist Monika Herzig, interpreted by an accomplished vocalist, and recorded with a group of renowned jazz musicians including Greg Ward on saxophone, Jeremy Allen on bass, and Cassius Goens on drums.
