This new original musical work – written in collaboration with the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Estate – follows the exploits of the Iconic detective Sherlock Holmes and his comrade Dr. Watson. Bartschi’s work takes us on a journey that incorporates elements of many well known Holmes and Watson tales
My Dear Watson is set in the original period of the late eighteenth century. It combines quotes, characters, and plot elements of several original Conan Doyle stores, including A Study in Scarlet, The Valley of Fear, The Three Garridebs and The Final Problem are all tied together in an original and exhilarating adventure.
Originating the roles in Empty Space’s production will be Kyle Stone as Dr. John Watson, Justin Mousseau as Inspector Lestrade, Liz Curtis as Mrs. Hudson, Chris Markcity as Cecil Barker, Chelsey Panisch as Mrs. Douglas, Kyle Wait as Mr. Douglas, Kevin Sigman as Professor Moriarty and John DiDonna as Sherlock Holmes.
