My Favorite Things

Presented by Performing Arts Matter at Maitland Presbyterian Church, Maitland FL

My Favorite Things

As the summer season draws near, the Maitland Symphony Orchestra has been busy preparing a concert for all to enjoy.  The program includes favorite selections of the past: The Shostakovich “Festival Overture”, Elgar’s “Nimrod”, and “Schumann Concerto in A Minor”, with rising pianist Ian Levitan.  Pick another favorite from “Forrest Gump” and Star Trek Through the Ages”.

“My Favorite Things would not be complete without selections from The Sound of Music” says Margaret Patten, Artistic Director and Conductor.  Another MSO favorite with guest erhu player Rui Yang performs in “Tea in Chinese Camp”.

We invite you to join The Maitland Symphony Orchestra for an evening of music on June 7 at 7:30p.m.  The concert is free and will be presented in the sanctuary of Maitland Presbyterian Church, 341 N. Orlando Ave. Maitland, FL.  Donations appreciated.
