National Young Composers Challenge

The National Young Composers Challenge is in its eleventh year and is open to young musicians ages 13 to 18 who are U.S. residents. Participants write their own composition for either a small ensemble (two to six instruments) or full orchestra. ?A panel of nationally renowned composers then chooses the top three-orchestra and top three ensemble compositions to be performed and recorded by professional symphonic musicians at the Orlando composium, which will be held at the Dr. Phillips Center.?
