New Score Chamber Orchestra July Concert 2016

 New Score Chamber Orchestra will donate a portion of the proceeds from their July 16, concert to the OneOrlando Fund. The July 16 concert begins at 8:00 PM at the Orlando REP in Loch Haven Park.
Tickets are $20 if purchased on line and $25 if purchased at the door.
New Score Chamber Orchestra focuses on original music by living composers. The July 16 program will include:
Three original arrangements of Claude Debussy’s Prelude Book 1, transcribed  by Jamie Wehr, local musician and composer, and founder and musical director for NSCO.
        Prelude # 8 – La fille aux cheveux de lin
        Prelude # 10 – La Cathe’drale engoiutie
        Prelude # 11 – La danse de Puck
TRES CANCIO’NES DE AMOR FOR TENOR AND ORCHESTRA; Central Florida debut of an original musical composition by Robert Kalb with vocals by Rishi Rane.  Vocalist Rishi Rane, a highly regarded and well known tenor in New York City, is new to the Central Florida Region. 
RIVER OF DOUBT; An original musical composition by Patrick Harlin who according to the New York Times, “is breaking new ground”.
THERE ARE NO WORDS; An original composition by Jim Stephenson, written to honor those impacted by the PULSE shooting.  This piece will close the program.
