First presented in 1990, The ZORA! Festivals’ three goals are; to celebrate the life and work of Zora Neale Hurston, to celebrate the historic siginificnace of Eatonville, and to celebrate the cultural contributions which people of African ancestry have made to the United States and to world culture. Since 1990, well over 1.5 million people have attended the Festival. Atrracting tens of thousands of locals and tourists, ZORA! Festival presents an impressive roster of arts, humanites and cultural programming. This year we are thrilled to have apart of the Outdoor Festival for Saturday, The Isley Brothers and several other artists such as Lyfe Jennings, Avant and Keke Wayatt. The gospel lineup for Sunday’s Outdoor Festival includes; Hezekiah Walker, Martha Munizzi, Pastor Riva Tims, as well as several local pastors from the surronding Orlando areas. We invite everyone to celebrate Zora Neale Hurston’s 125 birthday, at this year’s 27th Anuual ZORA! Festival of the Arts and Humanities.
