After School Writers Wordshop & Language Arts Lab From the first draft to the final edit, Page 15 at Orlando Museum of Art provides language arts support and coaching for writers of all abilities. Our coaches are trained to support young writers throughout the writing process, be it tackling school writing assignments, improving writing skills, or pursuing their own creative writing, while immersed in the atmosphere of a world-class art museum. WHO?
Students in 5th – 12th grades looking to improve their writing, exercise personal creativity, and discover a lifelong passion for the language arts.
WHEN?
Mondays – Thursdays :: 3pm – 6pm :: Students may visit any time during these hours.

WHY?
Because your voice and your language is who you are, and will take you wherever you want to go!  From academics and careers to personal relationships  – proficient literacy skills or the ability to communicate ideas effectively play an essential role in a person’s success in life.  Here you will find a community of young writers and experienced coaches who work together to support and inspire one another in the pursuit of their own writing goals. Our partnership with Orlando Museum of Art allows our students unlimited access to the museum’s permanent and traveling exhibitions. This provides the perfect complimentary environment from which to draw inspiration.
Additionally, with the money generated through our “pay-what-you-can” programs we are able to sustain and support quality writing opportunities to children enrolled in Page 15’s after-school literacy program in Parramore.
