Pine Castle Pioneer Days Festival
A two-day family-oriented event honoring the history and heritage of Pine Castle, Florida in beautiful Cypress Grove Park on February 25-26, 2022 10am-6pm.
Harry Truman once said “There is nothing new in the world except the history you do not know.” For the past fifty years, the sponsors of the Pine Castle Pioneer Days have tried to dispel that quote. Every year during the month of February a festival is held to commemorate the founding of what would become Pine Castle and Orlando. Stories of how Mosquito County became Orange County, demonstrations of pioneer life, and re-enactment of significant historical events are just a small part of this family oriented festival. There will be activities for all ages including wagon rides, and lots of “period” inspired food. Mark your calendar so that you won’t miss this event. This two day festival will be held on February 25-26 from 10am-6pm in beautiful Cypress Grove Park located at 290 Holden Avenue. This fiftieth anniversary promises to be bigger and better than ever. See you there!
