Seed Swap at Leu Gardens

Harry P. Leu Gardens winter Seed Swap will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  What should you do with those extra seeds you didn’t plant?  You should bring them to Leu Gardens’ Seed Swap.  Seed swapping is free, fun, and best of all, you may find seeds you’ve always wanted to grow.

Put your extra seeds in small packets and label each packet with the botanical name and/or common name of the plant and exchange for other seeds you want or donate them to the swap.  Check in your seeds with Leu Gardens’ Horticulture Staff who will place them in the swap, then shop for the seeds you want.  The end of summer is a great time to starting thinking about fall planting, so come out to the Seed Swap and start gardening.  Experts will be on hand to answer your questions.  Visit leugardens.org for complete details on the Seed Swap at Leu Gardens.
