September Fringe Year Round

September’s Fringe Year Round will feature some of the 2015 Award winning shows. Join us for the following fan favorites: EGG TOOTH — FRIDAY, SETEMBER 4, 7:00 PM — Rating: 13+ –Length: 60 minutes Ideas don’t hatch. They break free. They push, struggle, and slash their way into the light of day. They use a guitar, a camera, a pen—an egg tooth. The creator of Fringe hits onomatopoeia, on the nOse, and Liquid Courage presents Egg Tooth—a feisty hybrid of live music, video, and theatrical storytelling. See what emerges. AUTOBAHN — FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 9:00 PM –Rating: 18+, Adult content, language — Length: 60 minutes From the playwright of Reasons To Be Pretty, Neil LaBute’s Autobahn is a provocative, darkly comic portrait of America – “from a make-out session gone awry to a kidnapping thinly disguised as a road trip” – set within the confines of the front seat of a car. A gritty fable about the words we leave unsaid. SEX, DRUGS, ROCK & ROLL — SATURDAY, SEPT 5, 7:00 PM — Rating: 13+, Length: 75 minutes David Lee, 2011 Orlando Fringe Hit and Gold Venue Patrons Pick for Thom Pain, stars in the provocative solo show SEX, DRUGS, ROCK & ROLL!
OBIE-award winning writer Eric Bogosian[OC1]  creates a brilliantly-conceived cast of characters to comment hilariously on the issues that define modern life. MASSAGE A TROIS — SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 9:00 PM –Rating: 13+ — Length: 60 minutes Indulge in a threesome of twisted one-acts, each with its own absurd take on our constant battle with self-esteem. John Connon presents his quirky world view in Cheat Meal, Ambush!, and Massage a Trois, three outrageous vignettes featuring three hilarious actors, exploring our complicated relationships with food, beauty, and the occasional awkward massage. ONCE I LAUGHED — SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 4:00 PM — Rating: 13+ — Length: 75 minutes Inspired by and showcasing the music of the Andrews Sisters, “Once I Laughed” is a musical interpretation of some of the highs and lows in the lives of Patty, Maxene, and LaVerne Andrews.  Directed by Donald Rupe and featuring Sara Barnes, Lauren Culver, and Kayla Kelsay Morales. BUBBLE GUM PARTY — SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 7:00 PM — Rating: 13+ — Length: 60 minutes Join the Bubble Gum Party with dad Robbie, mom Debbie, and daughter Abby Bubble, as they sing songs for real American families with real American values (you know what we mean)!
