Dance is proven to reduce stress, raise endorphins and work important muscle for everyday health and fitness. In this program, we invite you to dance it out with Crosby Wellness Center’s licensed Zumba Instructor Brittney as you learn how to execute Zumba moves while sitting in a chair.
Zumba Gold Chair is a high-energy, fun fitness class for anyone who wants to exercise sitting down. It combines the “party” atmosphere and the exciting Latin and international dance moves of a high-intensity Zumba class with modifications to fit the specific needs of those who prefer to sit down to exercise.
Zumba Gold Chair classes are specifically designed for people with limited mobility, people with balance issues and anyone who wants a great seated workout. You can take breaks whenever you need and you will definitely work harder than you might expect. Be prepared to sweat, laugh and leave with a smile on your face! This program is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

Brittney Dandridge is a licensed group fitness instructor specializing in dance fitness and music led formats. Originally from Virginia, Brittney has called sunny Orlando home since 2018. Brittney enjoys teaching people at all fitness levels and strives to instill confidence and self-esteem in each one of her students while creating a fun and inclusive environment. When not teaching, she enjoys shopping, reading, experimenting with new recipes and volunteering with the Junior League.
