The Athens Theatre Company Presents "Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr."

Based on Disney’s Academy Award winning animated film, the stage version of Beauty and the Beast tells the story of the winsome Belle and her ferocious captor. The 1991 Disney movie became the first animated film nominated for Best Picture. In New York, the Broadway production played to over 5,000 sold-out houses and went on to become the sixth longest running Broadway musical of all time. Filled with lovable characters, beautiful tunes and enchanting sets and costumes, this “tale as old as time” is sure to be another Athens Theatre standing-room-only hit.
