The Good Mind (USA, 2016, 66 mins.) offers an intimate portrait of an indigenous sovereign national that never accepted U.S. citizenship, has its own passport, and still maintains a traditional government led by clan mothers and chiefs. The film will be shown with Water Warriors (Canada/USA, 2017, 22 mins.), the story of a community’s successful fight to protect their water from the oil and natural gas industry.
The Global Peace Film Festival (GPFF) celebrates its 15th anniversary from September 18-24 in various locations throughout Orlando, FL and Winter Park, FL. This unique event draws together filmmakers and filmgoers from all walks of life into a community of people inspired to take action in their daily lives and to leave the world a more peaceful place than they found it.
