THE PERSIAN ROOM presents John Lariviere Sing the Music of Johhny Mercer

The Persian Room welcomes cabaret & jazz singer John Lariviere in his tribute to Johnny Mercer entitled Moon River.  John Lariviere regularly headlines throughout Southeast Florida performing at local theatres and clubs. He has sung live on the radio on WXEL (91.3FM) and on TV on the Live With Iris Acker Show, and his voice can be heard in leading roles in the original cast albums of Fun and Games and Die Ammsterdamerung.

John has appeared in sold-out performances of his one-man show The Sinatra Songbook, and received critical acclaim for his tribute to the music of Johnny Mercer, Moon River.  Jeffrey Bruce of Cabaret Scenes Magazine says: “South Florida’s John Lariviere is a young singer of the “old school.” He croons, he belts, he has a voice of the gods and his hour show at the Club Plaza Cabaret is devoted to the Songs of Johnny Mercer, and it is a marriage made in musical heaven.”
