Young Frankenstein

Officially known as The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein, and based on the 1974 comedy film of the same name, this musical is a parody of the horror film genre. Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Fredrick Frankenstein inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked side-kick, Igor, and a leggy lab assistant, Inga, Fredrick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. Performance times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2:30pm. Ticket prices are $18 for adults and $15 for children. Call 352-319-1116 for reservations.
