Arching Oaks Art and Culture Center

Arching Oaks Art and Culture Center is  a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Eustis, Florida, dedicated to facilitating traditional Japanese Arts and Culture. Our facilities feature a traditional Japanese dojo, a Tatami room for Chado (tea ceremony), Kado (incense-smelling) and Ikebana (flower-arranging).  Adjacent to the dojo is a full size art studio, pottery-making area, and wooded areas and walking paths for the practice of Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing). We offer a variety of classes and workshops throughout the year in the Budo (martial) and Bunka (cultural and fine) arts and host an annual Shugyo Matsuri (Japanese Festival) in which the public can experience these arts first-hand.  All programs are open to the public.  

The mission of Arching Oaks Arts and Culture Center is to raise awareness and promote the artistic and cultural traditions of Japan and to provide its diverse community opportunities for growth of body, mind and spirit through high-quality programming rooted in these traditions.
