Central Florida Anthropological Society

CFAS was established in 1963 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation, study and preservation of Florida’s pre-Columbian, historic and contemporary cultural heritage. CFAS is a chapter of the Florida Anthropological Society. Our membership is open to people of all ages and backgrounds including students, professionals, volunteers and the community-at-large. We welcome members of the Greater Orlando community who have a general interest in anthropology and/or local history and culture.
