Greater Orlando Contra Dance / Contra Knights

The Greater Orlando Contra Dance is a community organization dedicated to creating a vibrant contra dancing scene in Greater Orlando.  Contra is one of America’s oldest and most fun folk dances!  Contra Knights is a Registered Student Organization at UCF sponsored by GOCD.  The two organizations host dances on campus at UCF for students and those under 30 on first and third Fridays and for the whole community at the Winter Park Ballroom Dance Co. on second and fourth Fridays.  The dance is gender-neutral and all dances are taught.  There is no alcohol at our events.  No partner or experience is required, so come alone or bring a friend!  See https://contraknights.org/ for videos, event details, and more!
