The Avian Reconditioning Center

The Avian Reconditioning Center, or ARC, is a bird of prey rehabilitation and education facility located in Apopka, Florida, just outside of Orlando. ARC was started in 2001, and opened to the public in 2004. We are dedicated to raptor rehabilitation, education and research, thereby increasing public awareness, knowledge and appreciation of Florida’s magnificent raptors and the natural habitats in which they live. We are open to the public on Saturdays from 10am – 3pm (Closed in August). We invite you to stop by for a personal encounter with our resident eagles, hawks, falcons, kites and owls. We also offer daytime and evening programs, onsite or offsite, for groups of all ages. Avian Reconditioning Center 323 West Lester Rd.
