Young Artist Summer Workshops at the A&H

Presented by Art & History Museums-Maitland at A&H Maitland Art Center

Nurture your child’s imagination and love for art, nature and history this summer at the Art and History Museum – Maitland! Our Young Artist Summer Workshops are the perfect place to grow their passions, learn a new artistic skill and explore the flora and fauna of Central Florida.

Age specific workshops are open to young artists ages 6-8, 9-12 and Teens. A variety of 3-5 day, 2 hour workshops will be offered including drawing, printmaking, pottery, mixed media, nature journaling, art history and more. Young artists will enjoy small class sizes in the mornings or afternoons with hands on instruction and inspirational learning opportunities.  All supplies are included in the cost of the workshop and families are welcome to explore our beautiful grounds while their students are busy creating. In August,  we’ll host a Young Artist Pop-Up Exhibit- sharing all the beautiful art created over the summer.
