NOT YOUR GRANDMA’S QUILT Sale & Fundraiser

Presented by Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts at Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts

Help us reach our goal of $10,000 to support textile preservation at the Funk Center! Local textile artists have joined forces to raise funds for the Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts (RFCTA) at Florida Tech. This free event features a reception and showcase of handcrafted works available for purchase. All proceeds support the RFCTA’s mission and the care of its global textile collection.

Also, join us for a free Gallery Talk at 1:30 PM for the opening of the Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) new exhibit “Forced to Flee”.  On this insider’s tour, juror Dr. Susan Beryl Marks will guide visitors on a revealing tour of works selected for this powerful exhibition.  Making its national debut at the Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts at Florida Tech, Forced to Flee illustrates the global challenges arising from the current refugee crisis impacting countries around the world.
