Shrek the Musical TYA Version

Shrek the Musical TYA Version

Presented by Athens Theatre at Athens Theatre

It’s Ogre-the-Top Fun!
MUSIC BY JEANINE TESORI, BOOK AND LYRICS BY DAVID LINDSAY-ABAIRE
BASED ON THE 2001 DREAMWORKS ANIMATION MOTION PICTURE AND THE BOOK BY WILLIAM STEIG.
Based on the Oscar-winning film, this fairy tale adventure is perfect for the smallest theater-goers and their families and friends. Join Shrek, the irresistible donkey, and a love-besotted dragon as they fumble through saving their swamp, rescuing Princess Fiona, and foiling the pint-sized, felonious Farquaad. In the end, the world of make-believe returns, of course, to being “A Big, Bright, Beautiful World.”

Run time: 1 hours & 30 minutes (plus a 15-minute intermission)

Presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI)
