Amazon with Achilles Heel
Located in front of the Publix on Central Blvd.
The piece references the relationship between the Amazon Queen, Penthesileia, and Achilles during the Trojan War. After killing Penthesileia in battle, Achilles fell in love with her. Some Amazon warriors removed a breast to prepare them for battle, to make way for use of a bow.
