Performance Machine Dyna-Static Forms (Black Tulips)

These water-based contemporary sculptures consist of welded sections of metal that have been painted black. Exact dimensions are unknown but each “tulip” is approximately six feet tall by six feet wide. These sculptures can be seen from Magnolia Avenue. Each piece is divided in half and the top half was built to turn – powered by solar energy – creating a different line and shape to the geometric figure.
