Artist Statement: “Art is how I practice achievement. My design process is random and sparked by something I am interested in. I imagine something, then create it.  Starmato is the tornado created when starfish play on an under-the-sea bush and pop out a tomato wedge. The sculpture is also adorned with some jellyfish made of tractor parts for fun, along with a lot of seaweed.” Christi Kapp
