About The Center For Health & Wellbeing

Florida Hospital, soon to be AdventHealth, owns and oversees the clinical spaces and provide medical services located within the Center; together the two partner organizations co-own and collaborate on the many Center spaces and programs designed to promote community wellness.

WPHF and Florida Hospital, soon to be AdventHealth, believe true wellness is much more than physical health, exercise or nutrition; it is the full integration of physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Together, the partners embrace the philosophy that we must move beyond a mindset solely focused on the management of disease and work together as a community to prioritize prevention and proactive strategies.
Every element of the Center has been intentionally designed to enhance its neighborhood. The mission-driven architecture draws its inspiration from the healing power of nature, transforming the property into a series of gardens and a natural light-filled, central building surrounded by walking paths. The Center is not just a building, but a place designed to be experienced and to facilitate interactions between Wholeness, Fitness and Medicine.
The Center for Health & Wellbeing’s educational programs and services are designed through the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Wellbeing, our guiding tenets adapted from the International Council of Active Aging’s Seven Dimensions of Wellness.
