CityArts Factory

The CityArts Factory is a Regional Multi-Use Destination located in the heart of Downtown Orlando, Florida. This facility houses seven separate art galleries, Barnie's CoffeeKitchen. It's also the home of SAK Comedy Lab on the second floor. CityArts Factory exhibit openings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 6-9 p.m. The space is available for rentals of private events on evenings and weekends.

Downtown Arts Collective

Downtown Arts Collective is a photography and contemporary art studio in Downtown Orlando. Resources at the studio include a 40 foot Cyclorama wall, Daylight Studio with various wall sets, Darkroom, Audio Recording Booth, Editing Station and a Bar and Lounge-area for artists to relax, unwind and share inspiration. Downtown Arts Collective also hosts various workshops for artists to teach skills such as digital photography, studio lighting and much more. Every third Thursday of the month, Downtown Arts Collective hosts a new exhibit featuring talented artists and photographers from Orlando and abroad. An International Photography Exhibition opens July 19th, showcasing work by photographers from around the world. Downtown Arts Collective is joining the art scene in Orlando with a bold and much-needed objective: to become the most accessible studio in the city. They design and price their studio and services to be affordable for artists at every income level. The Rogers building, located at Magnolia and Pine in the heart of the downtown historic district is the oldest commercial building in Orlando. Curator and Director, Patrick Greene focuses on showcasing nationally recognized and local emerging contemporary artists. Monthly artists talks are open to the public to hear about the inspirations behind the work. In addition to art exhibits; music programs, spoken word and film events take place at Gallery at Avalon Island.

Guang Ming Buddhist Temple

Guang Ming Temple is a branch of Fo Guang Shan. The temple serves as a center for multicultural education, social functions and festival activities. Most importantly, we make available Buddha’s teaching to the local community to enhance the spiritual growth of our devotees. Fo Guang Shan, the largest Buddhist monastery in Taiwan, was founded in 1967 by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Under Venerable Master’s leadership, Fo Guang Shanh has flourished across all five continents with over 300 temples, more than 1300 ordained disciples and millions of lay devotees. The objectives of Fo Guang Shan are to promote the principles of Humanistic Buddhism, and to foster peace and harmony among all peoples of the world through education, culture, cultivation and charity.

A free public festival, IMAGES: A Festival of the Arts, is ranked 39th in the Top Fine Art Festivals in the Nation by the industry-leading “Sunshine Artist” magazine. Indeed, 92% of participating artists rated the event a “10″, the highest rating. Presented by Atlantic Center for the Arts, IMAGES takes place in the beautiful outdoor setting of Riverside Park, with the Intracoastal Waterway providing a stunning backdrop, and along historic downtown Canal Street in New Smyrna Beach. The high quality, salable work combined with continuous live musical entertainment, creative children's art projects, a student art exhibit, and pleasing cuisine provides a culturally rich experience that communicates Atlantic Center for the Arts’ stamp of artistic excellence.

The Museum of Art – DeLand, Florida, is a vital and interactive non-profit community visual arts museum dedicated to the collecting, preservation, study, display and educational use of the fine arts. In addition to its permanent collection, the Museum is host to several rotating exhibits, gallery talks and receptions, educational programming, master artist workshops and special events throughout the year.
