Arts on Douglas was established in 1996 by artist and Atlantic Center for the Arts (ACA) founder, Doris Leeper and, artist/benefactor, Ed Harris. Originally conceived as a commercial gallery to promote the work and careers of professional artists from the state of Florida, the gallery has since formalized its affiliation with Atlantic Center for the Arts, combining missions, resources and programs, in order to further facilitate community engagement with the creative arts. Located in historic downtown New Smyrna Beach, the building was formerly a used furniture warehouse, and originally a 1930’s era Ford showroom and service center. The building was transformed into a 3,500 square foot exhibition space that presents 18 exhibitions a year. The gallery’s ongoing exhibition program features a broad spectrum of artistic styles, media and temperaments, including experimental genres in its newest addition, the alt_space gallery. Atlantic Center for the Arts - Main Campus

ACA’s main campus is set on eleven lush acres of land, on the edge of Turnbull Bay. While the facilities, including the Pabst Visitors Center and Gallery are easily accessible to the public, the residency program and Leeper Studio Complex are also set back from neighborhoods and main roads, allowing artists in-residence the necessary privacy to work uninterrupted. The environment of the campus is rich in species of flora and fauna, and the architecture of the complex is built to blend and interact in this natural environment. In total, ACA owns 67 acres at the main campus.

Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts is part venue, part recording studio, part art gallery! Located at 1905 Kentucky Ave in Winter Park, Florida, just off Fairbanks between Formosa and Clay, this unique space offers live performances most evenings, state of the art recording studio, and gallery space. More concert hall than night club, we're open to all ages and we present all kinds of music, theater, dance, and spoken word events. We're also available for private parties.

Bronze Kingdom Museum

CityArts Factory

The CityArts Factory is a Regional Multi-Use Destination located in the heart of Downtown Orlando, Florida. This facility houses seven separate art galleries, Barnie's CoffeeKitchen. It's also the home of SAK Comedy Lab on the second floor. CityArts Factory exhibit openings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 6-9 p.m. The space is available for rentals of private events on evenings and weekends.

CityArts Orlando

Crealdé School of Art

Downtown Arts Collective

Downtown Arts Collective is a photography and contemporary art studio in Downtown Orlando. Resources at the studio include a 40 foot Cyclorama wall, Daylight Studio with various wall sets, Darkroom, Audio Recording Booth, Editing Station and a Bar and Lounge-area for artists to relax, unwind and share inspiration. Downtown Arts Collective also hosts various workshops for artists to teach skills such as digital photography, studio lighting and much more. Every third Thursday of the month, Downtown Arts Collective hosts a new exhibit featuring talented artists and photographers from Orlando and abroad. An International Photography Exhibition opens July 19th, showcasing work by photographers from around the world. Downtown Arts Collective is joining the art scene in Orlando with a bold and much-needed objective: to become the most accessible studio in the city. Gallery at Avalon Island

Curator and Director, Patrick Greene focuses on showcasing nationally recognized and local emerging contemporary artists. Hollerbach's Art Haus

Mennello Museum of American Art, The

Tucked away on the shore of Lake Formosa in Loch Haven Park, just north of downtown Orlando, The Mennello Museum of American Art is housed in what was once the private home of Howard Phillips, son of philanthropist Dr. P. Phillips. The intimate museum uses its gallery spaces to showcase changing exhibitions featuring American art of all genres and time periods, including originally curated and traveling shows. The treasure of the Mennello Museum is the permanent collection of paintings by self-taught or "primitive" artist Earl Cunningham (1893-1977), generously donated from the collection of Michael A. and Marilyn L. Mennello. This collection of Cunninghams is the largest in existence, and a rotating selection of paintings remains on display. Owned and operated by the City of Orlando, the Mennello Museum of American Art opened its doors in 1998. The lakeside Sculpture Garden is another attraction and is the site of the Indie-Folkfest at the Mennello Museum held the second weekend in February and the Kids Fringe Festival the last two weekends in May.

Zora Neale Hurston National Museum of Fine Arts
